OriginCut Documentary Director is a creator tool for producing original narrated documentary videos and, when the creator chooses, uploading scheduled videos to the creator’s own YouTube channel.
The application processes the episode prompt, treatment, narration, generated visual assets, local render files, publishing metadata, and YouTube authorization token needed to provide its visible features. These materials are stored locally on the creator’s computer in the application’s generated folder.
OriginCut requests only the YouTube upload permission required to upload and schedule videos for the channel the creator explicitly authorizes. The permission is used only to provide the upload and scheduling controls visible in the application. The application does not sell, share, transfer, or use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose. A creator can revoke access from their Google Account security settings and can remove the local authorization token by deleting the application’s local generated data.
When a creator starts research, narration, or image generation, the relevant prompt and production text are sent to OpenAI’s API using the creator’s own API key. Nothing is sent for those services unless the creator clicks the corresponding generation control.
OriginCut is designed for local use. The creator controls local files and any uploads they explicitly initiate. The creator should protect their computer and API credentials and should not use the application on a shared computer without appropriate safeguards.
This policy may be updated when the application changes. For questions about this policy, use the support contact shown on the application’s Google OAuth consent screen.
